About

Jan Huling was born in Chicago and raised in St Louis. After attending the Kansas City Art Institute she had a successful career as a product designer. Once she decided to concentrate on her personal work, her art career took off quickly. In less than five years she had secured gallery representation in both New York and St Louis and had her work featured annually in national art fairs such as SOFA Chicago, Art Market San Francisco, and SCOPE Miami. Her meticulous beaded and embellished works are collected internationally and reside in the permanent collections of The Museum of Beadwork, The Racine Art Museum, and The Morris Museum.

Today Jan’s studio is based in Jersey City and she is represented by the Duane Reed Gallery of Contemporary Fine Art in St Louis.
